We are a television joint post production company; we edit video and also have an editing facility, broadcast facility, television facility and many other joint post production services.
Based In Soho, London, UK, we work on all manner of programmes including Jamie at Home and the Derren Brown series Trick or Treat. We either work for production companies or directly for a channel – whoever wants to use our facilities, such as our editing facility, broadcast facility or television facility. Just because or the nature of our staff and there skills and history we tend to work on a lot of live music DVDs and music video production. Recent credits are Muse and Scissor Sisters. The Joint also has a sound suite and we have a design company (who specialise in titles and graphics) called NUTS. We cover all manner of joint post production from Graphics and Titles, Title sequences, Grading and more.
Our team consist of some extremely talented and well known names in the business; they are Sarah Mackay, Piers Helm, Tim Thompsett, Paul Bussey, Rod Main, Tim Woolcott and Cadu Vasconcellos.

DS Nitris:
Our DS Nitris is a powerful, real-time finishing system. It has a creative set of effects and grading tools and is an ideal system to tackle both long-form and short-form programming. The Avid DS Nitris system offers multi-stream, 10-bit uncompressed HD, Avid DNxHD, and SD finishing and mastering as well as HD-RGB and 2K/4K file-based editing with real-time playback up to 2K.
Particle Illusion, Digital Fusion and After Effects are integrated into our suite and all connected to our render farm allowing ‘background’ rendering of effects, meaning more time finessing your project and less time sitting around. Grade 1 picture &
audio monitoring is installed throughout.
Our AVID ONLINE editing systems provide the creative flexibility of digital non-linear access. The Joints AVID OFFLINE editing service provides you with a creative and cost-effective way to make content and structure decisions within your program, AVID offline systems also allow digital non-linear access to your footage!
At our joint post production facility we have 2 Symphony online suits. Each suite comprises the latest MAC – based Symphony with high quality monitoring, Ultimatte Keyer, Sapphire plug-ins and direct access to all SD and HD VTR formats.
Within our post production facility based at Soho, London, UK we also have an editing facility, broadcast facility and television facility. With these facilities we have our own sound suite. Our sound suite features the latest ProTools HD software and hardware. We work with all audio formats and can deliver multiple format mixes, including 5.1 surround and HD 192Khz. We also have a voice over booth, projection screen, multiple monitoring for video and audio, full back up and archiving, DA 98’s and direct access to any VTR format for laybacks.
